Bombajam

Description

Bombajam is a tiny games studio that aims to produce fun and accessible video games for iOS devices. Jakob draws the pictures from New York City, while Ben writes the code from Melbourne, Australia. Their first game, Shade Dogs, was created to entertain their nieces, nephews and other young game players. Their next game will likely involve time travel, a haunted school, or a pennyfarthing.

History

Biographies

Bombajam was formed in early 2012 by Ben Porter and Jakob Haglof. Jakob is an illustrator and has worked on a plethora of projects, ranging from creating DJ software to directing music videos and animating interactive games like Desi Leaves Town. Ben is a programmer with a passion for making games and graphics software. He finished his PhD in 2011, in which he researched biologically-inspired algorithms for generative computer graphics, and left academia in 2012 to focus on making games.
