    i used blender. its just a sphere displaced with a cellular noise thats been through a color map. rendered with ao and sss.

  2. i might have the .blend file somewhere, but really its trivial. just make a high resolution sphere. make a material with the voronoi texture. then map the texture to the displacement channel. that's about it, no code required. :)
